Bird Activity Teether

The Bird teether was created to encourage early sensory and motor skill development through fun, interactive features. The final design combines a rotating tail for motion, sound beads for gentle noise, and a textured teether handle, all wrapped in a cheerful, modern character form.

To meet manufacturing goals, all colors were achieved through co-molded materials, avoiding the use of paint. Sized for toddlers to easily grasp, the Chicken Teether promotes hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and tactile exploration. Its lightweight, compact design makes it perfect for at-home play or on-the-go soothing.

Throughout the development process, we explored a range of concepts — experimenting with different characters, play patterns, sound elements, and colorful fabric integrations. Each design was evaluated for sensory engagement, ease of handling, and manufacturability. The final Chicken Teether brought together the strongest features into a simple, durable, and visually engaging toy.
