Cloud Activity Teether

Created for Winfun, the Rain Cloud Teether is a sensory-rich activity toy designed to engage toddlers through touch, sound, and movement. Shaped like a soft, friendly cloud, it features a textured teething ring and a colorful rain bead — giving little ones a comforting way to explore and soothe during teething.

The back of the cloud includes a built-in chamber with loose beads that create gentle, stimulating sounds with every shake. This added layer of sensory play helps support early development while keeping the design simple, durable, and safe for everyday use.

The design process was highly iterative, with multiple rounds of sketching, prototyping, and refinement to balance aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability.

Early sketch explorations focused on playful forms and interactions that would be easy for small hands to grip. Final CAD models ensured all parts fit together seamlessly, preparing the design for a smooth transition into tooling and production.
