Before launching Studio RedEye, David led the industrial design of this 3-tier shower caddy for OXO. Designed to elevate everyday routines, the system pairs practical features with a clean, modern aesthetic that fits seamlessly into any bathroom. A custom clip mechanism makes it easy to adjust shelf height, and a removable soap dish and cup add smart, flexible storage.

Design Approach

The design process began with a clear goal: create a shower storage solution that balances versatility, ease of use, and a clean, modern aesthetic in line with OXO’s brand. We explored a range of shelf configurations and adjustment methods, working through multiple design iterations to refine both form and function. Rapid prototypes were used to evaluate usability in real-world conditions, focusing on how users access and rearrange their shower essentials. As the design progressed, we developed detailed CAD models to support mechanical refinement and manufacturing feasibility. The result is a thoughtful storage system that adapts to user needs, while maintaining a sleek, uncluttered look that fits seamlessly into any bathroom.
