Studio Redeye partnered closely with Dame Products to help design an approachable, versatile external vibrator for people new to sexual wellness products. Together, we explored forms and experiences that would feel comfortable, intuitive, and easy to use, while maintaining Dame’s approachable, human-centered design philosophy.
Throughout the design process, we focused on creating shapes that support a variety of natural hand positions — from cupping grips to mouse grips to pencil holds — helping users find what feels best for them. The design balances form and function, offering versatility without intimidation.
We explored a range of form studies and early prototypes to better understand how subtle shifts in shape could support different grips and comfort levels. Rapid 3D prints allowed us to test and refine hand interactions quickly, helping guide the final design toward a product that feels inviting and empowering.
