Studio RedEye partnered with DAME to develop the Com Personal Manager, a personal wellness product designed to sit within the external stimulation category while offering a more refined and intentional alternative to existing market options.

COM was designed with a focus on approachability, ergonomics, and clarity of use. The goal was to create a form that felt confident and intuitive in hand, while aligning with DAME’s minimal, design-forward brand language.

Design Approach

Our work centered on developing a sculptural yet functional geometry that supports comfortable grip, natural wrist movement, and a variety of use positions. Through extensive sketching and CAD exploration, we refined the overall proportions and curvature to balance softness with control, ensuring the product felt neither clinical nor ornamental.

Material selection and surface transitions were carefully considered to reinforce a friendly, tactile experience while remaining practical for manufacturing. Subtle form breaks and smooth continuity help communicate quality and intention, resulting in a product that feels composed, modern, and thoughtfully resolved.

The final design reflects Studio RedEye’s human-centered approach to industrial design — combining ergonomic insight, disciplined form development, and production-ready execution to create a product that stands apart through simplicity and restraint.
