Making bath time safer and more fun. Designed to bring safety and smiles to bath time, the Duck Faucet Protector transforms an ordinary faucet into a playful, toddler-friendly feature. Shaped like a cheerful rubber duck, the soft silicone cover cushions hard metal edges to help prevent bumps and bruises — letting little ones splash and play with confidence.

One of the key challenges was developing a way for parents to easily and securely attach the protector to a variety of faucet shapes. We engineered a flexible silicone strap that stretches around the faucet for a snug, adjustable fit — no complicated fasteners or tools required.

Our process combined playful form exploration with rigorous testing. We sketched early concepts, refined the duck shape for maximum coverage and charm, and built CAD models to fine-tune the proportions and attachment system. Prototypes were tested to ensure easy installation, durability, and a universal fit.

We used in-house prototyping to speed development and reduce costs. Prototypes were tested on a wide range of faucets to refine the fit and ensure the Duck Protector worked across different shapes and sizes.
